I stumbled across 'We The People' on Netflix a while ago, added it to my list, and promptly never got round to watching it.
Then I was commissioned to create an LGBTQIA+ themed piece and when looking for media to take in as research during the conceptual stage, I re-discovered the series and binge watched all episodes, twice.
The mix of artwork styles is so visually interesting and inspiring, combined with the music it's brilliantly creative and educational. It focusses on American issues and lifestyle but brings global and human issues into it's themes as well.
Produced by Michelle and Barack Obama and featuring so many incredible artists, I highly recommend a watch/listen!
