As a huge fan of Wacom® products in general, I was over the moon to be given a Wacom Intuos® tablet as a generous leaving gift from my role in a design studio.
As life does, it got busy, and my tablet sat in the drawer of my home studio desk for far too long. Until today…the grand unboxing!
It was beautifully packaged. I opened it hoping that I looked as creative and exciting as the people in the video on the Wacom® website (wearing a christmas onesie in April, I did not).
After a quick set-up, plug in and switch on I was drawing. It took a little while to get used to, I had to get out of the habit of drawing directly to screen (which is what I’ve been doing for a while using an Apple pen on Ipad pro) and back to looking up as I drew.
But the results were great, the pen was super sensitive and picked up every move I made. Very happy I’ve finally opened my tablet, excited to get on with some scribbles and keep experimenting!
