I’m halfway through teaching a 6 week one-on-one Saturday morning art class.
It’s been a great way to start the day drawing and the ideas and imaginative characters that we’ve invented together have been so much fun!
We’ve covered finding basic shapes in life drawing, shading techniques, weight and perspective, 3D shapes, action and movement lines and textures.
In the process we’ve drawn an array of beasties from a bat dragon to a wooden-headed giant and a group of characters inspired by the Usbourne lift-the-flap Periodic Table book!
My Saturday morning art classes are always something to look forward to and I can’t wait to see what we come up with next.
