We've been doing a lot of messy mark-making, scribbling, inking, blotting and splashing about in our Pathways Into workshops lately.
It's not something I gave much thought to in the past, but spending time in my sketchbooks making messes, playing and being creative with making marks on the page has been an invaluable way to loosen up and think less preciously about my drawings and sketches.
I'll definitely be doing this every so often to keep loose and find new textures, marks and messes to create images with!
